Supreme Imports PLC is one of the UK’s largest wholesale distributors supplying over 6,000 products in to 65 countries around the world. The 150+ workforce supplies over 3,500 customers with vapes, batteries, drinks, health & wellness products and branded household consumer goods. Suprema Imports PLC boast 30% of the UK vape market including brands such as Elf Bar, Gold Bar, 88Vape and many more.
Brits drink a whopping 100 million cups of tea every day and in April 2025 Supreme Imports proudly took ownership of a new tea manufacturing facility, “The Plant”, in Gloucester capable of production 1,700 tea bags per minute for the Typhoo Tea brand. ASGuk were commissioned to design and deliver a brand new CCTV system which can be monitored their headquarters in Manchester.
Project Brief
ASGuk were instructed to design and install a brand new 23 camera CCTV with both local and remote monitoring, 4 hours of uninterrupted emergency power supply and suitable network infrastructure to accommodate.
The primary objectives of the new system were:

Design & Specification
The design process saw ASGuk conduct a detailed assessment of the facility including its security and health and safety vulnerabilities. From this assessment we were able to put together a comprehensive design proposal.
AXIS P14 Series network cameras were specified for the external cameras and AXIS M42 Series network cameras were specified for the internal cameras.
The AXIS P14 series are market leading when it comes to 24/7 video surveillance. These compact, outdoor-ready bullet cameras are available in resolutions from HDTV 1080p up to 4K and feature deep learning processing unit (DLPU) to enable improved processing and storage capabilities. Furthermore, thanks to edge-to-edge technology AXIS P14 Series can be connected to Axis network speakers to enable two-way audio.
The AXIS M42 series deliver great image quality in up to 8 MP even in challenging light. Featuring a varifocal lens with remote zoom and focus capabilities, they can be adapted for close-ups and overviews without the need for hands-on fine tuning. The series includes models with OptimizedIR for surveillance in pitch darkness and Lightfinder for sharp, colour images even in low light.
Installation & Delivery
Challenges:
- Ensuring minimal disruption to 24/7 operations
- Maintaining hygienic standards during installation in clean zones
- Meeting strict compliance requirements for camera placement and data security
Solution & Implementation:
- Installation was carried out in multiple phases in line with production patterns to avoid any disruption to production.
- All work in high-care areas followed hygiene protocols, including PPE, tool sanitation, and airlock access.
- Footage is stored on a secure NVR system, with encrypted remote access enabled for management. A tailored camera placement strategy ensures coverage of all CCPs (Critical Control Points) for food safety traceability
